While I was renting a studio flat in Madrid, I was a day late on the rent, and my landlord kept pressuring me to make the payment. Although my payment was delayed, I assured him that I would pay as soon as I had the money, but he was unwilling to understand.

When I paid him the rent, he gave me 1 week notice and asked me to leave. Horrible experience.
